Some of our most popular Father's Day and Christmas gifts for men are our personalized car, motorcycle, and garage signs featuring vintage style graphics on wood or metal.
In our company's home state of Minnesota, one of our favorite radio shows is called Garage Logic, which celebrates man's fascination with all things wheeled and mechanical. In fact, every caller is asked to give his "cylinder index," which can include cars and motorcycles, but also things like riding lawn mowers and even gas powered "weed whackers."
If a man's castle is his garage, he needs to have the right ambiance. Our retro car and motorcycle signs can be personalized---many in multiple places---for a cost that previously was only available on custom signs. Many are painted on rough wood planks with faux distressed corners to look like antique signs that were found in an old mechanic's garage.
Like any painted wood item (most of our car and motorcycle signs are also available in metal), our personalized signs age best indoors. But because we use high quality UV resistant inks, we've been pleasantly surprised how well they hold up even in harsh Minnesota winters. We do recommend coating your wood sign with spray on lacquer---available in most hardware stores---if hanging outside
