Only artist Andy Thomas could think up, much less paint, a scene as imaginative and powerful as American Storytellers. Featuring famous Americans known for their “gift of gab” chatting around a campfire in a beautiful lake front setting, American Storytellers is that rare piece of art that visitors will want to study. With firelight illuminating faces and a full moon in the background, author Mark Twain entertains a famous eclectic group that includes Norman Rockwell, Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, Earnest Hemingway, Will Rogers, Ben Franklin, Charles Russell, Fredric Remington… even Buffalo Bill.
We’ve framed this artist signed and numbered limited edition (500) giclee on paper in a fashion that makes it look much more like an expensive original painting, with no glass and a one inch wide real linen liner. The paper print is mounted to a Masonite board, lacquered and lightly textured to make it look like an original acrylic. Then we add a three inch wide mahogany stained molding. With no glass, there’s no reflection, which means no matter what room you decide to hang American Storytellers in, your guests will not have to shield their eyes while guessing who each figure is.
